Test Systems
Component Manufacturing

One-stop shopping: That's what many users and purchasers in the production field wish for. In such cases, Elabo implements turnkey systems. Some partners in the field of mechanical engineering have reacted similarly and are integrating Elabo systems as OEM modules in their production lines and facilities. Some orders consisting of individual products for safety, functional and quality inspections are "normal", while others include cooperative development. The aim is, above all, to arrive at automated production processes that already include all electronic and electric inspections.

Bundling tasks at the round table

We frequently manufacture automated systems for testing components of various types for our customers. In such cases the test objects must generally be subjected to multiple tests. Additionally, marking via laser, ink or impact systems is often included. The integration of a so-called rotary indexing table makes it possible to perform multiple processes simultaneously. In this way, various types of tests, from safety to quality, can also be linked together.

Optimum verification of manufacturing steps

Networking manufacturing machines and test systems at multiple points makes it possible to remedy errors relatively quickly. Elabo products can be used in this process from the start: from the inspection of the source materials – of a cable, for instance – to the visual analysis of assembled products such as plug connectors and cables, to the testing of the end product according to safety criteria as with a socket..

Bauteile 3  Increasing output
Elabo sets the bar high: achieving great precision while maintaining a low cycle time and having as many tests running in parallel as possible are the clear goals, especially in automated production. With stamped grids, for instance, up to 192 circuit paths can be inspected at the same time.

Bauteile 4 Playing it safe several times over
Multiple tests on a single test object are often necessary. Elabo has the competence to add on additional tests beyond the standard electrical safety tests, either at the same location during production or time-delayed, depending on the customer's needs. Control devices for flow heaters, for instance, can be checked to ensure that heating does indeed stop when the vessel is empty.
