In addition to comprehensive safety and function test systems for manufacturers of solar modules, Elabo also supplies special test equipment to testing institutes and partners in plant engineering and construction. Solar modules are visible to anyone. However, they become useful only through the addition of a power inverter, which converts the direct current produced by the panels into "outlet current." Elabo builds test portals for its customers that may include measurement of PE conductor resistance, a high-voltage test of various circuits and a function test of the ventilator units.

Automatic alignment

With test portals, the power inverter is generally delivered behind the safety fence with a cart. The Elabo inverter adapter is integrated in this restricted area and automatically aligned with the PCB test points on the power inverter. The software that allows this was derived by Elabo specifically for this function.

Rolling production
As a matter of course, solutions on the basis of roller or belt conveyors can also be delivered as an alternative to the test portal.

		Precision contacting Elabo places particular value on spot-on contacting of test items. For this reason, special spring contact probes are integrated in the adapters. Proper contact with test points can thus be tested and ensured by means of special switching amongst the test points.

		Production on a grand scale Extensive product ranges are no problem with Elabo test systems. With the construction and manufacture of inverter adapters, the adapter can be exchanged quickly and easily so that other types of power inverters can be used with the same test system.
